You might not believe that, but it's been almost 11 years since the last Maserati MC12 was being produced. We've heard nothing about its production or continuation after that, but do you really think it means it's completely off the table?
Maserati's director Harald Wester revealed that the company might do a limited edition, in the future. They aren't building it now, but we need to expect for news about a new MC12 very soon. The speculation has already started. The company is currently working on its new Alfa Romeo 4C at its Modena factory. Which model will replace the ultra-wide carbonfibre 4C?! We think that our guesses are right!
Of course we'd like to see this long awaited Maserati with a V12 shaped from its cousin Ferrari, but if it doesn't work than of course a boosted version of Quattroporte’s 3.8-litre twin-turbo needs to be considered. If the next Maserati MC12 will follow the blueprint of the MC12, which was based on the Ferrari Enzo, it'd be a amazing .
